Wild Hair
I don’t hang out all night with the crowd
See I’m a one woman man now and proud
I traded in my mustang for a four door minivan
But that ain’t no it ain’t changed the man I am
An’ I don’t get speeding tickets no more
An’ it’s a ball game if I’m talking bout a score
I mostly stay at home an’ I party there instead
But I’m not ready for the rocking chair just yet
It’s just my, my Wild Hair has done gone gray
An’ I wear it shorter it gets to changing everyday
But don’t count me out til I’m in my grave
It’s just my Wild Hair has done gone gray
You might say my life has changed
My priorities have all been rearranged
See the IRA’s and the PTA give me the B L U E S
And the preacher just told me last Sunday how much I’m blessed
An’ I said hey, my Wild Hair has done gone gray
An’ I wear it shorter an’ it’s changing everyday
But don’t count me out til I’m in my grave
It’s just my Wild Hair has done gone gray
I saw an old friend on the street the other day
She said you look different
Can’t put my finger on it
But somehow you’ve changed
An’ I said it’s just my Wild Hair has done gone gray
An’ I wear it shorter it’s thinning everyday
But don’t count me out til I’m in my grave
It’s yeah, it’s just my Wild Hair has done gone gray
